Brykerwoods
Brykerwoods is east of MoPac or Loop 1 between 35th Street and Westover. It is within walking or biking distance of Seton and Shoal Creek Hospitals. The homes in this neighborhood are mostly older, but as in other older neighborhoods, these older homes are being torn down and new ones are being built. Austin passed a law called the McMansion Law that will not allow mansions to take up the whole lot. This is one of the neighborhoods that is affected by this law.
