Lakeway is far enough away from downtown Austin to make you feel like you are on vacation. The beauty of Lake Travis is breathtaking. Shopping is no longer a problem now that many of the major stores have moved into the area.&
Where is Lakeway?
It is located about 30 miles west of downtown Austin. Getting there is easy by traveling RR2222, or Bee Caves to 71, or highway 71 to RR 620.; The drive through the hills is scenic. If going by way of RR2222 to 620, you will pass by Mansfield dam. 620 used to go across the dam.
