Pemberton
The neighborhood of Pemberton is one of the oldest in Austin and is in the National Registry of Historic Places. Many of these historic homes have been remodeled inside to function in today's world. Old Enfield is where the 'old money' of cattle and oil fortunes chose to live. It is very near downtown and the University of Texas. Shoal Creek hike and bike trail meanders along one side of this neighborhood and connects with the hike and bike trail of Lady Bird Lake.
