Rosedale
The neighborhood of Rosedale straddles 45th street and is west of Burnet Road and east of Shoal Creek Boulevard. It is an older area of Austin but a very desirable location. The homes are smaller unless they have been renovated, and many in this neighborhood have been. Seton Hospital, the Texas School for the Blind, The State Hospital, Shoal Creek Hospital, and the Heart Hospital are close by. Central Market is a poplular place to shop for food as well as grab a lunch or dinner.
