Tarrytown in Austin Texas
Tarrytown is an established neighborhood just west of downtown Austin. It is on the west side of MoPac or Loop 1. The homes in this neighborhood range in size from 2 bedroom bunglalows to 12,000 sqft mansions on the water. The western most edge of Tarrytown is Lake Austin. Prices in this neighborhood are high because of the nearness to downtown. The land value is much more than the homes in many cases. Many of the bungalows are being torn down and replaced with new homes.
